Gabriella at 8 months- 8 meses

It has been a little while since we last posted and lots things are going. These are recent pictures of Gabby as she now turns another page, eight months.

Ya teniamos un rato de no poner algo nuevo de todas las cosas que estan pasando con Gabriella. Estas fotos son reciente, esperamos que les guste, con ellas espesamos los ocho meses.

Hola a todos, hemos disfrutado muchisimo estas ultimas semanas. Espero que todos se encuentren bien.

Hi all, we've been having so much fun these last few weeks. Hope eveyone is doing well.

Gabriella is a big girl now and she has started to eat solids since she was about 5 months and 3 weeks old. She has done very well from the very beginning and is slowly trying out new flavors. I started giving her vegetables out of fear that if we started with fruit that she would not like vegetables, to my surprise she loves peas and most veggies and has a hard time with fruit. We are going to have to get a picture or a video of that for all of you to see so you can see the faces she makes.

Gabriella ya es una bebe grande pues ya empezó a comer sólidos desde que tenia 5 meses y 3 semanas. Poco a poco esta probando nuevos sabores y asta ahora vamos muy bien. Empecé a darle vegetales pues pensé que si le daba fruta primero ya no le iban a gustar los vegetales y para mi sorpresa, le encantan los vegetales. Su favorito son lo chíncharos, a ella no le gusta mucho la fruta pues creo que le sabe un poco agria, tienen que ver las caritas que hace. Pronto pondremos fotos o un video de las caritas que pone cuando come su frutita para que los haga reír un rato.

Here you can see Gabriella and her daddy wrestling and they decided to do this at the very beginning of the year. Gabriella taught her daddy not to mess with her in a baby headlock.

Al principio del año Gabriella y su papa decidieron tener unas luchitas y Gabriella le enseño a su papi una lección con un súper movimiento ganando la lucha. ☺

This picture was taken on Christmas Eve at Sandra and Justin's house, we had a great time even though we could only be there for a little while since we wanted to get back home to put Gabriella down for the night before she got very fussy.

Esta foto nos la tomaron el 24 de Diciembre en la casa de unos primos de Andy, Sandra y Justin. Nos la pasamos muy bien pero no nos pudimos quedar mucho tiempo pues tuvimos que regresar a casa temprano para no arruinarle su rutina de la noche a Gabriella.

Here is Gaby enjoying her feet just as much as she use to enjoy her hands a while back.

Aquí esta Gaby disfrutando de sus pies como disfrutaba de sus manitas no hace mucho tiempo.

Gabriella 17 weeks- 17 semanas

Well, it is that time of the year here n Houston; and my favorite to say the least. It is finally getting cooler. leaving the hot temperatures finally behind us. Gabby continues to develop so fast, she is now grabbing objects, loves her morning carton routine (classical baby), and is sleeping well through the night. Erika and I get to enjoy our evenings starting at 7:00 pm, Gabby goes down hard until her 9:30 pm feeding, then we get see her again at around 6:30 am for breakfast. Life is great right now, and going out for walks (the three of us) is so pleasant. Erika has done such a great job with teaching Gabby to put herself to sleep....I can't imagine my life without you, Gabriella.

During Ike in San Antonio/Durante Ike en San Antonio, Texas

Well due to Ike and not having electricity for what seemed like eternity, we decided to go to San Antonio. It was very hard going to San Antonio with Gabriella being so little, but we made the best of it, we actually managed to have some fun. Here are some pictures that we took during our stay.







Con la visita del huracán Ike y por no tener electricidad por casi una eternidad decidimos irnos a San Antonio. Fue muy difícil ir a San Antonio con Gabriella tan chiquita, pero hicimos lo mejor que pudimos y asta nos divertimos un poco.









As you can see, Gabriella is completely in love with her hands.

So here is another one of Gabriella's big milestone, she is smiling now and we can't wait for her to start laughing. She has already started practicing this week and as soon as we get it on tape we will post it.

Hi all-
I wanted to start this pot by saying that I am truly amazed of how fast she is changing. You are probably witness to this by following the posts; but it seems lile I go to work and com to see a different Gabriella. Well, here she is at 7 weeks..

Queria empezar esta entrada por comentar que estoy muy sorprendido de que tan rapido nuestro bebe esta cambiando. Me parece que voy a trabajar solo para regresar y encontrar un bebe totalmente diferente. Aqui este Gabby de 7 semanas...
